Community Solar generation by site

Community Solar is an opportunity for PSE electric customers to subscribe to shares of 100% local solar energy generated at different sites throughout our service area. Subscribers receive energy credits on their bill based on the real-time production* of their shares. Below is a month-by-month snapshot of the total solar energy (kWh) generated by all sites, except Kittitas Community Solar, in the program, or by each individual site, as well as the cumulative environmental benefits, since the sites began generating. Kittitas Community Solar information will be added soon.

*Total kWh generated at all sites except Kittitas and Manastash Ridge.

Solar generation for each Community Solar site varies due to the kW capacity (number and size of panels) of the site. Some sites may generate more or less solar energy based on their geographic location and exposure to more sunnier days, ie. there are ~300+ sunny days in Eastern Washington compared to ~150 on average in Western Washington. Additionally, generation on average is lower in the fall/winter months than spring/summer months.
